Game Art Design and Animation Week 6:IK Handles

This process however was somewhat much more difficult as there were alot of step sto follow when placing the IK handles to the parts of the skeleton and knowing that these would as they are stated hadnles to moving theskeleton of the character once binded.
Once the process of placing the IK handles has been done the next step is to colour code the reason for this was to differentiate from the left side of the handles to the right, in this case the left handles would be red and the right would be blue and main handle e.g. the spine would be yellow to stand out much more.
Once that has been done the next process is to have the handles parented so that when you want the shoulder to move the elbow and hand are influenced by that movement and the same intention is used for parenting the other handles.
The final step is to clean up the handles and this is to have restrictions on what you can move when highlighting the handles so for the shoulder you can only rotate rather translate and that would be done by lacking and hiding the movements that you wouldn't want anyone using.
