Game Art Design and Animation Week 9:Weight Painting the Basic Character Model

After going with the basic character model and completing the UV texture process once again i had come back to weight painting and this time around this process was much more simpler and smoother and that was because i had no extra nodes to smooth out and with the air containers and wires i was able to sort out the problem of influence from the arm to the side of the body.
After being aware of the multi colour option under the weight painting i was able to see clearly the areas that need solving and helped in the overall outcome of a smooth animation when moving the arm and you see from the images that i had gotten the models side body smooth enough to not be influenced much by the arm once moved.
Here is a simple image of the model completed after weight painting it and mirroring the weights to the other half of the body and checking if they would move without influence from other areas showed the difference in the problem before and after removing the air containers and wires polygons.
Now before beginning my animation i had one small problem which was with my characters feet and the problem was that when i was modelling i had his feet modelled in downward direction and not knowing that this would be a problem when modelling i had to straighten the feet before even starting my animation. From the additional attributes to the feet i was able to use that to my advantage and straighten the feet before animating as you can see in the image the left foot had been straightened and then i just did the same process to the other foot and i am now ready to animate.
