Here are the images Johnathan Fee had taken when we had gone to Bolton Abbey, these were to aid and be used as reference images towards my project. Throughout the day he had taken images of the Abbeys features that i see myself having similar such as archways, wooden doors and pillars and getting the real life aspect of these object will help in the development of my variation of the designs.
As you can see from the images i can use them as texture samples and allow me to get an understanding of the scale of things such as the height of the pillars. Also the brick formation and layout is a key object of the castle environment and you can see how the contrast of the texture isn't all the same as some areas of the rock has eroded as time went on.
