I started to do my modelling by starting on the main building and created a basic bottom half of the building to which will then be used to create a similar upper half to carry on the buildings design.
Once i started to design the building further i found that the model was beginning to look as if it would begin to get messy in the mesh's design near the top of the building and so i tested in designing the buildings front exterior and then try to mirror the geometry.
As you can see i had finished off the first model i had started and once it's finished the model had no problem at the top when first thought it seemed like there would be a problem. Compared to how i tried to model it the second time by modelling half the buidling to later be mirrored it is visible seeing the creases and edges within the curving of the building.
Then to finalise the building i added a base which was designed in the sketch that wanted a upside down plate as a base which curves up to form the buildings walls. This final piece completes the look of the building as is shown through the three modelled buildings the final one looks complete and the right choice to have in the game environment.
This viewpoint is to show the amount of spacing the gamer will have once in the game environment and as you can see the height of the buildings is not one that will be at mid point of the screen but much lower to the base of the left building.
The view from overhead gives you an insight on how the size of the area will be for the gamers to move freely around and the positioning of the buildings around the game play area will change once into Unity.
