Creative Industries Week 4:Blog on the roles within one of the companies you were looking at and describe the differences between roles.

The company i have chosen to blog about is the THQ-Juice Games which is part of the gaming industry, there are many roles within THQ-Juice Games such as
  • Games Designer-Is the person who creates the rough ideas of the game which could involve character, clothing, name and etc designing.
  • Game Artist-This role is to provide the view of the sketches into the games format.
  • Level Designer-Is the role to which the designer creates the landscape or surrounding for the game to be played within.
  • Games Developer-Is the person who gets the game created from the Game artists work to the finished piece which is the game itself.
  • Game Modification-Is the role of which changes areas or improves in areas.
  • Game Producer-Overseeing what is going on to make sure the workers are doing the right thing and to keep them development process within the time scale.
  • Game Programmer-Is basically the engineer for the games, the one who provides the right format to be played on.
  • Game Tester-This role is basically the person who checks if all links are linked, checking if there is anything missing and just the one who overlooks if the game works or not.
