Creative Industries Week 2:List and Explain 5 Industries...

For this weeks work we had been asked to list and explain 5 industries, so here are the 5 i have chosen to explain about:

1. THQ-part of the gaming industry, develops, markets and sells games, this industry revolves around the creation of the games for example THQ latest and greatest game is the annual WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2010 game which will be realesed at teh end of this month, has been created for fans of the WWE to play as their favourite superstars as well as this years game focusing on the create modes which will allow fans to create their own superstar, entrance story and so on.
2. Legendary Pictures-part of the Film Industry, Legendary Pictures are part of the motion pictures films within the films industry and their company was founded to create, co-produce and co-finance motion pictures, Legendary Pictures are well known for their films such as Batman Begins, Superman Returns, The Ant Bully, 300, 10,000 BC, The Dark Knight, Watchmen, The Hangover, Trick 'r' Treat and so on.
3. Warner Bros. Records-part of the music industry, enables artists to produce their music under the finance and tool aiding to create an album from the artist, Warner Bros. Records gives artist the equipment to work with create the souns with their lyrics so the Label is producing with artist such as Linkin Park, Craig David, Enter Shikari, Metallica, Elliot Minor, Kylie Minogue, Muse, My Chemical Romance and so on.
4. WWE-part of the proessional wrestling/sports entertainment, WWE is part of the sports entertainment industry providing weekly episodes of wrestling this industry shows sports in ways which keeps the viewers watching and keeps vewers in tune with the types of sports in the world. WWE is the most recognisable wrestling sports entertainment with not only its shows but with its own Films, Music, Books and Home Videos, WWE has expanded its marketingthrough other medias.
5. Advertising Industry focuses on expanding the exposure of the latest products from manufacturers, this industry is created to show people products that they might not know about but needed and thats why this industry focuses on ways to get a specific product noticed and purchased.
