ID Tech 5was another engine i looked at but was given more of an insight with this video than previous engines and that had been interesting because one of the games designer had given you an in depth analysis of the game environment, there use of textures and how when you move around the certain area and return back the texture changes and the two games that have utilised the engine so far are Doom 4 and Rage.
