Games Week 4:Space Station Research4-Space Stations Interior

This blog is focusing on what could be inside of the space station:
This image is of a basic space corridor which seemed really god as it shows the basic look and that to me can be used in any building and seem normal.

Again the basic corridor but as it curves away which shows how it could be used in space.

This corridor although it is being made shows that most space objects have circular corridors.

The next image is of a space man in his chamber where you can see the basic shape with the complex wires and switches.

This image i had chosen simply because i had seen this space ship when watching the show and thought that its simple and not looking like its high tech.

Now this is of a more detailed corridor which looks clean in its presentation.

I had chosen this image from Gundam Wing as it differs from the previous image with a dark look and more simplistic type of machinery.

Again this image is from Gundam Wing but it shows the technology because there is a huge screen showing the surroundings of the space station.

Again the chamber of which the technology has been set around the screens of the space stations system.

This image lets you have an insight on how the seating and perhaps how the living would look in space stations.

A detailed isight of the interiors of a space shuttle allowing me to see what the space station could have.

Seating arrangements for the space station as well as the interior surroundings.

Contextual and Theoretical Studies Week 8:Feminist Film

Feminist film by Elisa Oliver
Laura Mulvey made her own films and was also interested in director Sally Potter-it may be worth exploring these as a starting point for how she herself addressed or felt the issue was addressed.

I think that how she herself, felt the issue was addressed as being seen as this little argument but wanted to get her point across by different means of media and how they handle the situation thus looking at the work of Sally Porter and how she has presented her work.

Games Week 3:Space Station Research3-Vehichles

This next blog is based on the types of futuristic vehicles that could be created and how they resemble vehicles of today:

This first image has that futuristic sense in how the shape of the car is smooth and clean with doors that go up instead of open to the side making it a believable future car.

This image to me seems like the image which mostly shows that this vehicle could be the future and with that i think the simple circular shape with smooth opening doors and circular seating resembles a vehicle of the future.

Again this image has no wheels and seeing only circles where wheels should be makes me feel like this is the vehicle which would be used in a future society as it looks harmless ad safe.

This is an image of a car which to me seems not too much of a future car but seems like a stepping stone for the car of the future.

The inside of the car is seen as same as the cars of today besides the more exposure of light.

The Side view shows how the car has like a boat with wheels shape but which could be a more appealing car because a different shape has the car seen as a car of the future.

Top view of the car lets you see how much of the upper part of the car lets you see through it.

A futuristic car? i think so and thats simply because it has that slick, smooth and odd shape which would be considered as futuristic.

To me this could be a means of transport in the future as it is for individual people and it's a jet pack allowing people to fly around.

A space vehicle outside of the space station which seems futuristic as normally the vehicles are more of a tube shape.

This is the image which i see as a spot on view of a space vehicle as it has is wings engine and body.

Games Week 3:Space Station Research2-Space Suits

THese next images are focussing on the space suits as the tourists would need space suits to accompany them in space and i started to research into the space suits and found other as well:

This image i had found would to me help n what areas a suit would need and have.

Another suit to me would help in certain accessories that could be integrated with the suit.

A image of a astronaut in space in his suit which is small, fits with his body shape (isn't too big but a normal scale to a human body) and show that as time would pass the size and accessories with the suit would be more like wearing clothes.

I had found this image which shows how basic a space suit can be and how the futuristic technology would be able to create a suit that is built for increased movement whilst wearing the suit.

After looking at the suits in real life i started to find that in the Anime Series Gundam Wing they use Mobile Suit to pilot them around in battle.

Looking more into Gundam Wing i found that whilst in the Space Stations they had used simple clothes-like space suits.

Side view of the Space Suits.

Again there is different colours to show the characters and which i had realized after Chris had found that if we were going to create suits that basic would be good and pretty easy to create and leave more time to the detailed and distinct part of the project.

Another variation of the space suits used in Gundam Wing.

The different colour and amount that is on the Gundam Pilots space suit.

A different view of the space suit which has a varied helmet.

Same suit but different view which again shows how you can see the person body shape instead of the shape of the suit.

This is a different Mobile Suit which would be an aerial suit or for work (moving objects).

This another image of the Mobile Suit which has wings allowing it to fly and be a combat suit against enemies if a war arose.

A view of a simple suit worn by another pilot.

This view is of how a human would compare in size to a Gundam Suit which could be used for space missions.

Another mobile Suit but in a battle showing how it resembles a stance of a human.

Here is a older version of a space suit which shows how the suit doesn't resemble the shape of a human too much and has a heavy accessory on the back causing a heavy mass whilst moving around.

Here is a variation of how the old space suits looked to how they would look now in its slim line.

This image just stood out with how a mobile suit can resemble so much like a human stance.

The Mobile suits in their full view.

The mobile suits to their pilots.

Games Week 3:Space Station Research1-Space Stations Exterior

Starting this course our group had chosen the space station and Chris had said that we should come up with individual ideas to which then we would join up and come up with the final product having seen all of each others work and here is the first of my research:
I have been watching an anime series, Gundam Wing in which surrounds itself in space and found that this image shows how basic a space station can look.

I believe that this is a space station used in Star Trek and i chose this as a researched image because it is well known and has so much detail that shows how much detail is in certain space stations.

This looked interesting as it stood out with its interesting perspective of a space station because it seems like it hasn't been finished and that the shape of it is a factor as a donut shape with a handle on seems too much to be completed.

Now this next image, i think is a rendered 3d model of a space station and that in itself showed how we as a group could create a 3d perspective of the pace station we want to later be converted into second life.

This image has been chosen simply because i started to constantly seen that object in space had there own solar panels around the shape which led to me thinking that we could incorporate that idea into our space station.

Again this space station looks outstanding in its shape to the futuristic look and feel and thats why i chose it because it has that futuristic thought into it.

Again, this is another example of a space object which integrates solar panelling into its shape.

The simple shape of this space station made me realize that our space station could consist of areas of shapes that join up having a top, middle and lower deck of a space station.

Here is an actual image of the Star Trek space Ship being used and how it looks underneath with its engine below.

Another image of how solar panels are used with a space object but also with this image is the fact that the solar panels aren't just added at the side but above the space object.

This image shows how a space station doesn't have to be long or big but can just be small in length and wide to accompany the vast amounts of people.

This image for me shows a range of space station ideas that can come out of the shape or simple engine ideas to be the base of the space station shape.

I had chosen this image besides the legos being used to build it, it looks as futuristic and something our group could use for a city start.

The next image is from 2001:Space Odyssey and to me the shape caught my attention as it has a sphere on one end which is attached to a long part which is made up of individual compartments which can give our group the idea that the space station could be broken into parts.

This next space station image was chosen because it has that futuristic look and the shape as it is broken into three significant areas which is the lower base could contain the spaceships, second mid base having the civilization and the third base the top which would have the captain and the space station workers.

Another image of solar panels with a space object but agin a different shape.

This had been the first image i had chosen because not only does it show an image of the space station but another view of it which shows how the space station could be used in space.
