Digital Films Week11:Evaluation of 1 Minute Film

My initial idea from the storyboard was kept as a guide throughout the final film however having 1 minute time scale i had to cut off certain bits of clips as well as cutting the animation down because the animation was taking a lot of time to do.

Using certain software again like Pencil, Photoshop and Maya was good as i was able to realize how they can be of benefit to me whilst doing other projects and Maya specifically had a big help because i was able to create a 3D archway to use as a model, which i could view in different places i wanted. Pencil was good as it allowed me to do frame by frame and view what i have done so far and Photoshop helped with the creation of the door and the mountains.

Overall the project had finished with a good outcome which is good in my view but could improve a lot with the shots, footage used and amount of animation as i believe with more animation it could have been a better film. However putting the quality of the film aside and focusing on the positives i was able to learn more on film making and learning new softwares as well as carrying on with programs not used as much.

Digital Films Week10:Helping Out

During waiting for me to start filming i was able to help out with other projects,

Such as Mark Griffiths filming on the left is an image, where at the back n the right i am holding the green screen, as well as helping with movement of equipment.

Another of my help to other films was to Chris Rhodes by doing a voice-over for his pizza ad,

And finally helping with John Fee's Robot film where i had help with setup as well as helping put costume on.

Digital Films Week10:Problems with timing

Once i started to get nearer to finishing the editing i had come across a few flaws in which i had a couple of seconds added to the 1 minute needed and so had to cut most of the shots as well as the length of shots.

I had added a text title to look like handwriting because i didn't want it to be better visually than the actual film and just for it to look basic.
